Being abroad for a long time can be tough. Sometimes when i'm cooking, I dream about having my pop's big juicy burgers or my mom's lumpia....so tasty. Another thing I miss are the people. Georgia is known for it's southern hospitality. I tell my friends in europe that it's normal to have a conversation with the people scanning food or goods at the grocery stores or wal-mart :-) I also talk about how we smile at strangers and even say hi just to be polite. Some of my friends look at me funny, but I tell them that this it's true.
Well, a friend of mine also misses the good-ol' hearted people of Atlanta and sent me this video. It almost made me tear up......actually it made me realize the power music. jeeez!

What is really the second most disturbing aspect of this clip (the first being this mo-ho), is that the passengers are just watching calmly, probably on ipods and cellphones, as this terrified old lady, probably thinking her time on this earth will soon end, has no escape from mo-ho's bizarre behavior. So to all those spectators on the marta that day, I applaud your restraint and hope to God that I will never need your help.

Ps; I hardly understood a word of what the girl was saying! That is one hard ascent! I hope they understand my "Californian"... hehe
